Clubhouses
The recently renovated Hamlet Clubhouse, conveniently located in
the center of the community, has much to offer all its residents. Upon entering the lobby,
with soaring ceilings, your vista of the outdoor pools through walls of glass is breath taking.
There are activities for all ages from our card rooms, TV lounge, library, conference room, state of
the art fitness center, party room to our home offices and mail rooms. This is the hub of the
community where many clubs meet and social activates are offered. The party room is available
to rented out to residents with an elevator leading to this private area. There's a second smaller
clubhouse with a card/meeting room with coffee service and pool area.
Pools
There are two pool sites on the property. At the main clubhouse there is a heated pool, a deep
water pool and a heated kiddy pool. There is also a heated pool located at the west clubhouse. The main
pool opens on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. and the west
pool is open from July 1 through Labor Day from 12 noon to 5 p.m. on weekdays and 12 noon to 6 p.m. on
weekends and holidays.
Tennis Courts
There are seven har-tru tennis courts available. Three are located outside the main clubhouse
(with league approved lights), two more are located off of Carriage House Drive nearest to the west
clubhouse (with lights), one on Estate Drive and another on Wimbledon Court.
Gym
We have a state of the art fitness center open from 5 a.m. – 11 p.m.
daily. The Hamlet’s Fitness Director, David Heitner, leads walks through Old Westbury College (our
neighbor) followed by equipment demonstrations, a minimum of three-four times annually. Fitness
classes are available mornings (call the office for schedule). The fitness center constantly updated
and is currently equipped with up to date-state of the art fitness equipment including:
Cardio Vascular machines
- 4 treadmills with t.v
- 3 recumbent bicycles with t.v.
- 4 elliptical machines with t.v.
- 1 aerobic rowing machine
- 1 stair climber with t.v.
- 1 seated elliptical with t.v.
Weight training strength machines
- Functional weight stack unit with 50 or so uses
- Lat pull down weight stack piece
- Seated rowing weight stack piece
- Inner and outer weight stack thigh machine
- Leg press machine
- Chest press machine
- Leg extension-leg curl combo
- Seat ab crunch and lower back extension
- 2 free weight strength benches with weights (2 ½ – 50 lbs)
- Ab sit-up bench
- Seated stretch machine
Walking Trail
The Hamlet boasts a unique walking trail for those who desire a time
to commune with nature and enjoy the special aura of a walk through the woods while getting some
exercise.
The trail is divided into two sections:

Beginning at the end of Golf
View Drive, there is a an entrance to access the trail which takes you to on Hamlet Drive.
This section is a bit more challenging than the other section, due to the topography. There is
a fence that can be used as a rail to steady the declines and inclines.

Beginning on Carriage Drive
and ending on Estate Drive, this section is quite a bit flatter and easier to maneuver.
Both sections are TRAILS, not offering pavement or other
footings.
